Hi. Glad you’re here.

I’m Cher, and like most people, I am many things. A gardener, a mom, a dog owner, a lawyer…

I’m also a wee bit obsessed with food. Not just because I adore eating — and oh, how I do — but because I believe the best thing we can do for ourselves is to nourish our bodies with food that offers both incredible flavors and abundant nutrition. I started this blog as a way to keep track of my efforts to do just that.

In sharing my journey toward health and a whole foods lifestyle, I am excited to offer fabulous recipes, honest book reviews  and indulge my affection for kitchen gadgets great and small. But I hope to share more than just food  — that’s the “plus life” in Paleo Plus Life. As I see it, paleo living involves just about every aspect of our lives. I’m just getting started exploring; thanks for joining me on the way.

    Hey Cher! It was great meeting you at the conference. Thanks for your Whole30 tips. Quick question for you- what is the brand of the electrolyte powder you were talking about last night?

    Anyway, all the best to you. Hope you and your family enjoyed your stay in Seattle and hopefully we can run into each other again. :)

      The protein I like is Great Lakes Gelatin (in the green can). It’s tasteless, doesn’t gel and dissolves well.
